Welcome to Kathmandu!

Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal, is a captivating destination that offers a unique blend of cultural heritage, spirituality, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Nestled in the majestic Himalayas, Kathmandu is a treasure trove of history, art, and natural beauty, making it an enchanting city for travelers seeking an extraordinary experience.

With its rich cultural heritage, Kathmandu boasts numerous historical landmarks, ancient temples, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Durbar Square, a UNESCO site, is a testament to the city’s glorious past, featuring intricately carved palaces and temples that showcase the remarkable craftsmanship of the Newar artisans. Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple, and Boudhanath Stupa, a magnificent Buddhist pilgrimage site, provide a glimpse into the city’s spiritual traditions. The iconic peaks, including Mount Everest, provide a stunning backdrop to the city. Nature enthusiasts can explore the nearby Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, a sanctuary of diverse flora and fauna, and enjoy hiking trails that offer panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Traveling by Plane

Kathmandu is easily accessible through Tribhuvan International Airport, with direct flights from major cities worldwide. Taxis, buses, and rental cars are available at the airport for convenient transportation within the city.
