PRIVACY STATEMENT

What we collect

We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any sensitive types of information. This does however include your name, email address, contact number, organization/affiliation, and designation/position.

Why we collect it

We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with the information that you have asked to receive. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you.

How long we keep it

Your personal data will be kept with us until the end of the conference (November 5, 2023).

What we do with it

Your personal data will be used to maintain communication with you regarding conference registration, logistics, or any other pertinent updates related to the conference, “Delivering for Nutrition in South Asia: Equity and Inclusion.”

All the personal data collected is processed by our staff at IFPRI’s New Delhi Office (NASC Complex, CG Block, Dev Prakash Shastri Road, Pusa, New Delhi, 110012, India). For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers provided by a third-party mailing list management service. Some of the servers that host your personal data may be located in countries (including the United States) that do not provide a level of data protection equivalent to that of your home country. We will take appropriate steps to make sure that our service providers act in accordance with applicable law.

Your personal data is not shared with or sold to third parties.

What your rights are

If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, also contact IFPRI-D4N-CONF@cgiar.org, who will forward the complaint to our data protection officer to investigate. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your home country.
