About Ladakh

Ladakh became a Union Territory on 31st October 2019. The Union Territory of Ladakh comprises two districts namely Leh and Kargil.

Since Ladakh was a part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir prior to the enforcement of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, the District Nutrition Profile (DNP) presented below is for the former district of Leh (Ladakh), based on the boundaries of India’s Census 2011.
