POSHAN presents updated District Nutrition Profiles (DNPs) for 640 districts in India. These draw on diverse sources of data to compile a set of indicators on the state of nutrition and its cross-sectoral determinants. The profiles are intended to be conversation-starters at the district level and to enable discussions about why undernutrition levels are high, and which factors, at multiple levels, might need to be addressed to improve nutrition.
To access these updated DNPs, click here. This link takes you to an interactive map. Use the arrow to navigate to the desired state name. On the interactive map, you can click on the individual district name to get the Nutrition Profile for that specific district.
In case you have any specific request, please write to us at ifpri-poshan@cgiar.org clearly stating “DNP REQUEST - district name” in the subject line.
